Hello! I’m Ashley.
Originally from Naples, Florida, I made my way to the Blue Ridge Mountains, where I attended Appalachian State University and earned my degree in Interior Design. During college, I had the opportunity to be a visual merchandising intern at a store in Rockefeller Plaza in New York City, an experience that sparked my love for storytelling through design.
After graduating from Appalachian State, I joined Pursley Dixon Studio in Charlotte, North Carolina, where I worked as a designer for six years. During that time, I was part of the team that designed the Southern Living Dream House in Palmetto Bluff, South Carolina. This experience was incredibly formative and helped shape my understanding of timeless, beautiful design.
After six years in Charlotte, I moved to Asheville, North Carolina, to reconnect with the mountains. I worked for seven years as a lead designer for a local interior design firm, building meaningful relationships with vendors, artists, builders, and architects throughout the region.
I’ve always believed that good design begins with understanding how people truly live in their homes. Through my studio, Ashley Stiles Interiors, I aim to bring a warm and intuitive approach to every project, layering texture, mood, and function in ways that feel both personal and effortless. I naturally gravitate toward grounded palettes and richly layered materials, and I’m excited to continue growing and evolving my design journey through Ashley Stiles Interiors.
Outside of the studio, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Jordan, our boys, Peter and Oliver, and our pup, Charlie. We spend much of our time outdoors, making things with our hands, and finding small creative moments in everyday life. You may also find me at local craft fairs, set up at my little booth selling handmade clay jewelry that I roll out on a pasta machine.
